7 Months

I love my days off! I sure wouldn't mind staying home everyday with this little cutie.

-Not crawling, but we're getting close. He, for the first time today, got on all 4s and stayed there for 30-plus seconds today. For not being mobile he can really move around.
-Eats 5 bottles and 2 solids per day.
-Wakes at 7:30; Bedtime 8:30 - sleeps through the night and has since 4.5 months!
-Likes to yell more than talk
-Lights up when Daddy gets home (or when Carlos walks by)

Rowan's favorite position is with a thumb in his mouth and holding his toes with the other hand.

Just A Swingin'

First time on the swing. He seemed to enjoy it.

'Nanner Faces

Rowan had his first encounter with bananas over the weekend, and it was not love at first sight.
The first time he spit out nearly ever slimy bite, in addition to making some pretty awful faces and trying to gag himself. Well, fake-gag. That's a new trick he learned in the last week (that would be the face in the lower right). Thankfully, he wasn't successful!
Try #2: same faces, some gagging, but ate more.
So on try 3, I pureed them and low and behold he ate them all and didn't fake-gag himself once!
What a difference consistency makes!

Pool time

Rowan's first pool! Which he was in one day before Mommy decided we needed a pool big enough for us both to get in :)
